25 Days of Cereal Day 19: Golden Crisp
My grandpa LOVED Super Golden Crisp. It was his favorite breakfast cereal and he ate it all the time. How could you not like Golden Crisp. It’s basically a bowl full of candy.
My favorite thing about my grandpa liking Golden Crisp is he always gave us the pack in prizes. And since he ate so much, he made sure he’d wait till he had enough that’d we each get one. Stuffed Sugar Bear? Had him. Surfing stuffed Sugar Bear? Had Him. Coins of the world? Had Multiples. Baseball card packs, 3d adventure viewers, joke books. We had it all. We loved the stuffed Sugar Bears, because we loved Sugar Bear.
My grandpa always loved seeing what we got for christmas. He was an engineer and a mathematician, so I don’t know how I was even related to him, but he loved technology, even in toy form. Our family would host a Christmas Party on the day proper, and he would come downstairs and check out new Nintendo games, commodore games, computer apps and peripherals, he loved having us explain it to him.
He passed away over 10 years ago now, but he would be enamored with where technology is going. I think the Apple Watch would have floored him because he always loved cool watches.
Anyway, let’s get on with our cereal review.
First thing I noticed when I pulled out the bag was, you can see the cereal. Its not longer packaged in a foil lined bag. I don’t know how long this has been the case but it’s been a while since I’ve eaten Golden Crisp.
I pours a bowl and hit it with milk, dug in. This stuff is fantastic, I couldn’t help myself but to finish the bowl and drink the milk. There is soooo much sugar, but it is fantastic.
I give this 9 out of NOINE ladies dancing
Tomorrow is day 20, and we’re gonna talk Christmas Cereal, and a new one for this year.
