25 Days of Cereal Day 22: 2018 Apple Jacks with Spooky Marshmallows

I finally got to the last of the 2018 Kelloggs Halloween Cereals, and I just want to say kudos to them for overtaking General Mills and the Monster cereals for having winning the Halloween Season. The Monsters took the year off by just re-releasing last years, particularly boring boxes, while Kelloggs re-did the box art, made new Marshmallows, and changed the colors of the Froot Loops. Also, the Froot Loops are amazing! I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chocolate Frosted Flakes but I remember liking the Apple Jacks last year, so I’m excited to finally give those a try. Also, don’t forget that Kelloggs also released the amazing Pumpkin Spice Frosted Flakes this season as well.

For a Halloween season highlighted by a bunch of really cool and fun stuff (read about it here), these cereals really helped put a cherry on top. A+ guys!

As soon as I opened the bag of the Apple Jacks I got the smell of apples and cinnamon, two of my favorite smells. I poured a bowl and hit it with milk and MY GOD, I always forget how much I LOVE APPLE JACKS! They really go good with the marshmallows as well. The flavor is just so spot on Apple Jacks. Its a rush of nostalgia every time I eat it. You may be asking about my description of the flavor. Well Kelloggs put out a series of commercials in the 90’s explaining it perfectly (watch below)
