25 Days of Cereal Day 25: New Kelloggs Cereals!

25 Days of Cereal Day 25: New Kelloggs Cereals!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Hopefully everybody has a wonderful day today no matter what they’re celebrating. If you listen to the Rad Years Podcast, you know Enchantress and I were hosting today. It was a crazy fun day, I was up at 5:30am to start cooking and didn’t stop till just about an hour ago. You have to keep people fed, and drunk on Christmas. I got tons of cool presents, especially from Echantress who kills it ever year with special edition vinyl records and art work from my favorite comic book artists.

I was hoping to get a cool cereal that’s not out yet to review for you guys on Christmas and boy did Kelloggs come through. They sent me two of their newest cereals TWO, and wow, was I blow away.

Just to be forward, I did not pay for these, they were sent to me for free. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love them. I almost feel like whoever in marketing sent me these, read the blog and could tell I would love them.

Let go one by one.

Honey Nut Frosted Flakes.

I love the box art, lots of emphasis on honey. I opened the bag and all I could smell is the floral bouquet of honey. In cereal? I poured some milk, and dug in. I didn’t really get any nut taste, but the honey taste is really prominent. You get a strong, floral honey flavor that Is really delicious. I love Frosted Flakes, and I think these are a nice addition, and a must try if you enjoy a true honey taste.

Strawberry Krispies.

I pulled out out the bag and took a whiff. I was excited. One of my favorite cereals in the last couple of years was Strawberry Cheerios, so I was excited these would also be great. I poured a bowl, worried they might be too sweet, but after hitting them with milk and trying, WOW, these are FANTASTIC! Great crunch, great flavor, not too sweet, and you get a good Strawberry Milk flavor left in the bowl

You might be thinking I’m only giving them a good review because of the free cereal but that’s not true. It’s Christmas, a time to be honest, and I honestly LOVED these. I would suggest you try the Strawberry Krispies first, but they’re both worth picking up.

I give them 1 out of 1 Perfect Partridge in a Pear Tree

Thats it for the 25 days of Cereal! Big thanks to Kelloggs for hooking us up on our final day! I’m looking forward to all the new cereals coming on in the new year, and new content!
