25 Days of Cereal Day 24: Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch
It’s officially Christmas Eve everybody! Some of you may be opening presents at midnight, so might wait till tomorrow morning. Enchantress and I did most of our last night on Christmas Adam, we saved a few for today, and the big day itself. Tomorrow I get to unveil my surprise cereal tasting! The last review of the season, #25 of 25. Today however is the SECOND last and one I’ve been waiting for all season.
Honesty time, my favorite cereal of all time is Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and last time Sugar Cookie toast crunch came out, I wasn’t able to grab it. This time however I was quick to jump on it as soon as I saw it in the store.
Upon inspection, it looks almost identical to Cinnamon Toast Crunch, just lacking the Cinnamon. Dry taste test the same thing. I hit it with some milk, and yes, it taste just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, without the cinnamon. This isn’t a bad thing, these are delicious. It’s the rice and wheat cereal that makes it so dang good!
I almost wish we would have gotten the Canadian version of French Toast Crunch. It was an identical looking crunch cereal made with the same wheat and rice formula. Instead we got the cute, but still corn based version we all know.
Out on shelves soon are a few new cereals from General Mills. They’re bringing back Chocolate Toast Crunch, introducing Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros cereal, and Fruity Lucky Charms! I can’t wait to get my hands on them.
For now, I’ve got some homemade Chex mix in the over (The original recipe) a few beers in me and we’re about ready to start getting festive. I’ll be back with tomorrows special review but for now have a Merry Christmas Eve.
