25 Days of Cereal Day 11: Blueberry Pancake Crunch

I know I reviewed this back with the summer reviews, but I wanted to talk about some old flavors of Captain Crunch through out the years.

We’ve had Orangecicle Crunch, Sprinkled Donut Crunch, Carmel Popcorn Crunch, Cinnamon Roll Crunch, Volcano Crunch, Capt. Crunch Treasures, Galactic Crunch with marshmallows and more.

Then there are the Capitan crunch mainstays, w/Crunch berries and Peanut Butter Crunch. Crunch Berry has become a flavor all on it’s own, culminating in this years Crunch Berry Slurppee at 7-11.

Captain Crunch is probably one of the most popular cereals in the world. And I’ve got a fresh box of some seasonal version to talk about at a later date, but for today, let’s talk Blueberry Pancake Crunch.

When you open the bag, it IMMEDIATELY smells like blueberry pancakes. I really dig the smell. Even though they’re balls it looks like it used the same corn/oat base that regular roof of your mouth killing captain crunch uses.

I poured a bowl and let some milk hit it, and REALLY enjoyed this cereal. It should become a summer mainstay for the Captain.
