Rotten Tomatoes Halloween TV Guide

Rotten Tomatoes Halloween TV Guide

This is pretty cool. Rotten Tomatoes aggregated all of the spooky content this year onto one page. At the top you get all of the “What’s on the streaming sites” links, but below that, you get an honest to goodness TV guide. FOR CABLE haha. Thats HOW WE WATCHED! There is a communal feeling knowing you’re watching something the same time as everybody else. It was the only way to watch. Here is a link to the whole page but I pulled some choice days to share with you

This is Friday October 9th. You can watch Ghostbusters afterlife, which is pretty spooky at 1pm, but I’d go with Halloween 4 on AMC and Halloween 5 at 3pm afterwards. Then stay with AMC because at 5 and 7 we have Halloween 2 then the original. Jaws and Jaws 2 are summer movies, im sorry. Then it’s the underrated Hocus Pocus 2 at 8:35 on Freeform.

Monday October 12 have some good stuff, you can watch some of the best Nightmare on Elm Street movies! Dont miss Dream Warriors at 5:45 as soon as you get home from work. Then the original at 8pm and Freddy’s Revenge at 10:15 AMC is brining it this year!

on Thursday October 15th all of the episodes of Crystal Lake drop on Peacock so you have that! once you get to work, make sure the break room TV is on Freeform. When you get home Addams Family and Addams family Values are classics!

The next night on Friday the 16th, AMC has you covered with more Jason if the Crystal Lake series puts you in the moods. Jason lives at 3pm and The New blood at 4pm are can’t miss!

Saturday the 17th is important because It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is free on Apple TV for non subscribers Saturday and Sunday only. It’s really shitty that it’s not broadcast on one of the networks. CBS, Sunday Night should be a lineup on Halloween! or NBC or ABC or CW. Any will do. Fox? thats still a thing.

you’re gonna want to get up early on Saturday October 24th. 7am the adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad! Who didn’t grow up watching the headless horseman during halloween? Cujo at 9:30, Ghostbusters 2 at 11:30, FREAKING FRIGHT NIGHT at 1:30 on AMC, I STILLLLLLL BELEIVE THAT THE LOST BOYS are on at 4pm on ACM, followed by Christine! or you can switch to Hocus Pocus at 6:55, TBS is doing Beetlejuice Beetlejuce for 24 hours! switch back to Freeform for Hocus Pocus 2 at 9:30 and then Casper at 11:35 and it’s Halloween 3: Season of the Witch on AMC at 12:15. They’re seriously playing all of my favorite Halloween movies in 1 day! This is a can’t miss day of loafing on the couch and watching TV all day. Order a Pizza or Chinese food, get some pumpkin beers and a bag of your favorite trick or treat candy and just take er easy because at this point we’re down to a week left!

Above is Friday October 30th, you can watch a lot of Halloween, a lot of Ghostbusters, some Conjuring universe movies, and Jaws 3 at 1am on TBS haha. The night before (thursday the 29th) TBS has The Office Halloween Marathon on at 11pm.

This is it! The big night! A lot of repeats but it’s been a long season. The highlight for me is 1978 Halloween at 11pm. After a night of partying (lets face it, we’re not at a party past 11pm anymore) and or Trick or Treating, you can relax and put on THEE movie! Celebrate in style with Michael Meyers himself. Is anyone planning on watching? Should we get a group text going for the 24th while we’re all watching? Let me know in the comments!
