Holiday junk food is a vice of mine, and I don’t always actively eat it but I do want to always try it. One of the best seasons for it is always Halloween so as soon as it hit mid August I’m on the hunt for all of the best Halloween crap. If you have a weird obsession with it also, and are wondering where you can get news, one of my favorite sites is theimpulsivebuy.com it’s a great site about food being spotted out and about in stores. Today I’m going to taste and review 5 Halloween impulsive junk food buys I’ve made this year, and don’t worry it wont stop at 5, more are on the way, so lets have at it.

Skittles Pop’d Creepy Crunch

I’ve never had Skittles Pop’d before and to be honest it’s been a while since I’ve had Skittles at all, but I figured id give these bastards a try. Each bag had 5 flavors, Ghastly Lime, Cursed Apple, Blood Orange, Beastly Blackberry and Red Raspberry. I guess they got sick of the cute names and were like fuck it, just call it Red. Skittle’s Pop’d are freeze dried skittles and normally have their white innards and gut popping out of them but these have dark purple guts. I guess thats what makes them creepy. All the flavors were really good and I enjoyed the crunchy skittles.

I’ll give these 7 Thumbs up.

2. Peelerz Caramel Apple

These are a gummy candy that you peel the skin off of, but both parts are edible. It’s all very weird. I took the gummy and peeled it’s caramel skin off to expose a green apple gummy that was somehow wet, but not unpleasant. I ate the skin separate and it had a distinct caramel flavor, then ate the apple brains from inside and it was distinct apple. Very well done and good flavor on these guys

They earn 8 Thumbs up.

3. Kraft Milk Chocolate Caramels Pumpkin Spice Cups

Kraft is branching outside of just marketing it’s little squares of caramel into a full on candy line this season. These are individually wrapped and are about the size of those gold wrapped Reeses cups. They have fall sprinkles on the top and are filled with a caramel sauce that is pumpkin spiced flavor. I LOVED these and prob could have ate the whole bag, but I stopped at just the one for now. I will definitely go back to them and would suggest you buy these if you see them.

They get my worst rating ever, 9 thumbs up

4.Brach’s Mellow creme Spooky Graveyard Candy

I have a weird relationship with “Mellow creme” candy. As a kid I hated candy corn but liked the mellow creme pumpkin candies, even though they tasted exactly the same. These were also strange to eat. The yellow skulls are caramel corn flavored, the purple tombstones were cotton candy Flavored, the white ghosts were marshmallow flavored and the green bats were green apple flavored. Out of all of them, the cotton candy was the best but still kind of gross and all of them were disgustingly sweet.

5. Nature Valley Pumpkin Spice Crispy Creamy Wafer bars

I’ve had the peanut butter, and strawberry version of this before and they are freaking good, so I had high hopes for these and they did not disappoint. These tasted the closest to pumpkin pie as any pumpkin spices food I had ever tasted. Legit pumpkin flavor, not just the spice that is associated with them. I would highly suggest sitting in front of a small 13 inch tube tv in your kitchen and watching a halloween episode of Rosanne while eating a few of these with a glass of milk.
